Not only did the Grammys diss Natalie Cole by not honoring her with a live performance, but the late singer’s sisters Casey and Timolin tell us they were treated poorly by the show’s organizers.
Adding insult to injury, Casey said the pair had to sit next to
“Justin Bieber fans,” and that they were treated like “lost kids at
Disney World.”
“We sat there painfully for three hours and there was never one
mention of her name. We thought that at the very least her name would be
mentioned or there would be a respectable and dignified salute to her
legacy and what she brought to the music industry,” Timolin said. Modal TriggerTimolin and Casey ColePhoto: Getty Images
Cole was relegated to the night’s In Memoriam segment rather than
getting any live musical tribute. Her twin sisters were looking forward
to being able to honor their sister and dad, Nat King Cole, on the 51st
anniversary of his death, but they said that organizers left them
hanging.
“It was promised [that we’d be able to honor them], but it wasn’t delivered,” said Timolin.
“We were surprised and shocked,” said Casey. “It [felt] like she just evaporated in thin air. She passed in vain.”
Casey told us their seats were so bad, they needed binoculars to
watch the show. “We were given crappy seats sitting next to Justin
Bieber fans,” she said.
But Timolin stressed that their goal is “to do nothing but protect
and preserve the legacy of our father and now Natalie. This is our job
and passion.”
Natalie’s former publicist Maureen O’Connor, who also reps the
Grammys, told us: “I did the best I could to help them, but I was
running around like crazy doing things for the Grammys, who are my
client.”
Okay, I've seen enough nonsense about what the top boybands are and who started the boyband craze. There are some idiots who claim that the Beatles were the original boy band which is a crock of shit. The truth is the first orginal boyband was Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers! They are the first recorded 'boy band ' who were in truth the boy band of their day some 20 years before the Beatles picked up their guitars. But Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers were the very first boyband. The rest on this list are pale comparisons to the original.
10)N'Sync. A very talented group with an asshole as the main star justin timberlake that inspite of being a very talented singer is a worthless piece o' shit!
9)Four by Four- An awesome group that put out a few hits in their heyday.
8)Jagged Edge- one of the most soulful groups that you'll ever hear sing a song!
7) 112- Puff Daddy put this group together and during the run of his BadBoy label were amongs it's top stars.
6) The Barrio Boys- a hispanic group, these boys can blow like nobody's business.
5)All 4 One- an interracial group that charted during the 90's they showed what America should be instead of what the suits or top executives in record companies with their 'all white boybands' want it to be!
4) Hi Five- perhaps the best boyband of the 90's they charted hit after hit during their run.
3) Levert- Gerald Levert and his brother Sean lit up the R&B charts with hit after hit after hit after hit during the late eighties and throughout the 90's! Truly they should be #1.
2)Milli Vanilli- inspite of all the racist inspired bad press that Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus suffered, they charted ten top ten hits and thrilled the girls all across the world! They just didn't thrill the envious whitebois anxious to destroy them.
1) New Edition- New Edition jumpstarted the boy band craze back during the 80's for they were the absolut FIRST during these modern times! There would be no New Kids on the Block, no Menudo, no Backstreet boys, no N'Sync, none of them without New Edition!
Nadja Benaissa a biracial singer from Germany, contracted AIDS from one of her german lovers and spread it to another german fool who didn't have enough sense to protect himself! He may have knew of her but he didn't KNOW HER, and anxiously had unprotected sex with her! I do not blame Nadja but now she has to pay this fool because she gave him aids. Well she needs our love and support but listen to her music! She has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard! And Nadja, if you want a date, I'm free on Saturdays! Here's the story:

DARMSTADT, Germany — A German singer facing accusations that she
infected a man with the virus that causes AIDS acknowledged in court
Monday that she had unprotected sex despite knowing she was
HIV-positive.
Nadja Benaissa, 28, a member of German girl band No Angels, is
charged with grievous bodily harm for allegedly infecting a partner with
the virus in 2004 and also faces charges of attempted bodily harm for
having unprotected sex with two other men.
"I am sorry from my heart," she said in a statement read by her
lawyer to the Darmstadt administrative court. "No way did I want my
partner to be infected."
The man who claims Benaissa infected him says they had a three-month
relationship at the beginning of 2004, and that he got tested after
Benaissa's aunt asked him in 2007 whether he was aware that the singer
was HIV-positive.
In her statement, Benaissa told the court she became addicted to
crack cocaine at 14 and that during her pregnancy at 16, she found out
that she was HIV positive, the news agency ddp reported.
After winning a TV talent show, "Popstars," in 2000, she joined No
Angels with four other young women and hid her illness from everyone for
fear it would damage her career.
Of that time, the singer said in her statement, "I grew apart from everyone, even myself."
No Angels sold more than 5 million albums before breaking up in 2003.
Along with three other members from the original band, Benaissa
helped reform the group in 2007. They performed to a disastrous result
in the 2008 Eurovision song contest, coming in 23rd out of 25
contestants.
No Angels were heading into a concert in Frankfurt in April 2009,
when Benaissa was taken into custody and kept for 10 days – a move that a
German AIDS awareness group criticized as disproportionate. The
Deutsche AIDS-Hilfe group argued that the question of whether her
partners also carried a share of the responsibility had been neglected.
Five more sessions are scheduled in her trial. It is not clear if Benaissa will give any further testimony.
A verdict is expected Aug. 26. She could face several years in prison
if found guilty, although her acknowledgment of wrongdoing is expected
to result in a milder punishment.
