Prince is reportedly dating British singer-songwriter Delilah.

The pop legend and vocalist from Hackney have known each other for two years, when he discovered a YouTube video of her singing and invited her on tour.

An insider claims they are now quietly dating, have been enjoying each others' company while he has been performing in a string of pop-up dates in London.

'Delilah is talented and gorgeous and it's little wonder Prince is so smitten with her,' an insider told the Daily Mirror.

'They have always been close but things have moved on recently.'

Delilah, 23, attended the Purple Rain singer's Ronnie Scott's performance on Monday night, along with a number of celeb faces including Rita Ora, Kate Moss and Noel Gallagher.

The singer - real name Paloma Stoeker - toured with Prince, 55, in Australia two years ago, and spoke candidly about her admiration for the American star.

'Singing with Prince really helped in terms of confidence,' she said in 2012. 'I was really nervous going on stage before him in front of tens of thousands of people. That was terrifying. I kicked off my high heel shoes because I was scared I was going to fall over, because my legs were shaking.''

She added: 'We jammed on the guitar on the first night I was there. I went over to hishotel room, which was more like an apartment, and he pulled out his purple guitar. I was quiet at first, but after a while he said, "Well are you going to sing?" and I was like "I guess so?"

'He was so kind and so lovely and so normal. I guess I forgot he was Prince and we just got along so well.'

A spokesman for Prince said: Delilah is a friend of everyone in the band and everyone loves spending time with her.'

The 55-year old singer has been married and divorced twice before, first to Mayte Garcia and then to Manuela Testolini.

Over the years he has been romantically linkedto high-profile stars including Kim Basinger, Madonna, Vanity, Sheila E., Carmen Electra, Susanna Hoffs and Anna Fantastic.

Prince has been making a comeback in recent weeks, with his £10 on the door secret gigs in London, and soon Manchester, as well as a substantial guest appearance as himself in American comedy series New Girl.
