George Reeves; 1950's Superman Murdered; Leonore Lemmon Was The Murderer

You know it's a shame that George Reeves, the actor who played Superman in the 1950's series his murder has not had any justice yet. Mostly because the woman who murdered him was the wild daughter of a very rich society couple from New York who spent millions covering up their daughters crime. Why no one has come forward in all these years since George Reeves murder just lets you know how far her family was willing to go to keep their daughter from being accused of this murder. She's dead now but still people are wrangling a bunch of cock'n' bull to keep from telling the world that in a fit of rage this woman murdered her then boyfriend George Reeves. Now a lot of people want to believe that Toni Mannix Reeve's longtime married love was the culprit, but all the evidence points to Leonore Lemmon. George and Leonore were having a small get together of some of George's showbiz friends and a few of her friends.  Her and Reeves were in his upstairs bedroom arguing while guests were downstairs heard what was going on though later they would tell police after their first initial interviews at another police inquiry they were too smashed to hear anything. Evidently George had called off their pending nuptials and decided to rekindle his relationship with his old flame Toni Mannix becuase under Mannix Reeves was a kept man with Toni paying for everything! Inspite of the fame Superman gave him it did not pay him well. George was broke and his demanding current girlfriend was spending up money with a quickness, money that he didn't have. Though George Reeves was a fine actor, he was a lousy businessman and spent his money as soon as he made it. But basically he left Toni for party girl Lenore Lemmon, whose family had basically cut her off for her wild partying ways. Eitherway, he went from being a kept man to having to take care of a demanding girlfriend. Well that soon got old for their whirlwind romance went sour soon and George told her that it was over and he was going back to the arrangement he had with Toni coz' he was broke (thanks to her) and had been out of work for two years since Superman had ended. The down side to playing Superman is that during the 1950's he had been so terribly typecast, he wasn't asked to do anything else.  This was not so early on in his career for George was on his way to becoming a matinee screen idol until he interrupted his career to go fight in WWII (something John Wayne refused to do). When he got discharged from the service, his career never recovered and he took Superman at the insistence of his agent who promised him that nobody would see the series and he would be on to something else soon. Just amazing how badly veterans of the wars were treated back then. Well to everyone's amazement the series took off and became a phenomenal worldwide smash! It gave George fame beyond his wildest dreams, but it didn't create better career opportunities for him or fill his bank account up full of money.  Funny how no one involved with the production thought to give George a well deserved raise or other rewards for those Kellogs commercials he did he wasn't paid for and none of the original cast got any extra residual checks fo the continued running of the series on various network stations. That's why he was looking at doing an exhibition fight with a local fighter to make some money that he badly needed! Eitherway, him and Leonore Lemmon got into an argument and tired of fighting with her he started getting undressed and prepared to take a shower. He had told her he wanted her out of his house, the house Toni Mannix bought for him, in so many days, something one of the witnesses all of sudden developed amnesia about but he had told the police earlier. But eitherway, Leonore in a fit of rage, grabbed George's gun that was in a nightstand next to the bed and shot him in the back of the head as he had his back to her ignoring her further yelling. Big mistake for him. Eitherway, she realized what she had done and then ran downstairs and put out this cock'n'bull story that George had shot himself. Then ran out of the house before the police could get there. The police found her in NEW YORK, where she had fled to from Los Angeles, home to mommie and daddy begging them to fix this for she was in big big trouble after this incident. And that's when the press started spinnin ridiculous yarns trying to confuse the public on what really happened to George. But what happened to the poor guy is that in a fit of rage, Leonore Lemmon murdered him and now she will face God for her crime and George will finally get the justice that eluded him on this earth. I recently read an article on George Reeves again and still they're churning out that bullshit spin from the 1950's talking about 'nobody knows what really happened'. They know. Leonore Lemmon murdered him, but because her folks had major bank they were able to pay for this entire cover-up for years and Leonore didn't do a day in jail in her lifetime for the crime she committed! That's the real shame.
