Low Class “Uptown Girl”: Christie Brinkley, Fraudulent Feminist Who Needs to STFU

Model/actress Christie Brinkley is Exhibit A of the truism that being married to an extremely beautiful woman isn’t what it’s cracked up to be.  Even a woman who remains beautiful (apparently with the help of the world’s greatest plastic surgeons and Restylane injectors) at age 58.  She has been divorced from husband number four for four years . . . and, yet, she still won’t shut up about it in the media and move the bleep on.  Yesterday, she spent eight minutes on NBC’s “Today Show” whining against this poor ex-husband of whom she won’t let go.  Yes, he cheated on her (and spent money on internet porn) and that was wrong, but geez . . . move on, woman. It. Was. Four. Years. Ago. Is this war on men via public castration what left-wing women really mean by “female empowerment”? Sadly, yes.

Peter Cook in 2008 & Now: Divorce From Ex-Supermodel Christie Brinkley Can Age You a Few Decades Brinkley is also Exhibit A of the BS that feminism is–that these women insist on equal opportunity AND equal results, and then they still want the men to pay for everything for them.  Gold-digger Brinkley, an uber-liberal who fundraised for Bill Clinton, is worth $80 million.  And, yet, she’s so petty she’s forcing ex-husband Peter Cook (who is worth far less) to pay $1,200 a month in child support for two children, one of whom isn’t even his.  In fact, the son, Jack, is the progeny of husband number three, Richard Taubman, a man Brinkley thought was worth gazillions because he had the Taubman last name.  Sadly for her, he wasn’t of that Taubman family (the billionaire) real estate and shopping mall Taubmans of Michigan), and once she learned of his limited fortunes, she moved on . . . to architect/former model Peter Cook, who had a fancy house on the Hamptons.


Now, that house is gone (from him–she owns it along with 18 other properties at issue in the divorce) and so are much of his looks.  Since the divorce from Brinkley, she’s pilloried and excoriated him so much in public and demanded so much from him that he looks like he aged at least a decade-and-a-half in just the four years.  And the fortunes of pretty much each of her former husbands have taken a turn for the worse, once they got together with and then split from her.  There’s a reason Christie Lee Hudson Brinkley Allaux Joel Taubman Cook has almost as many last names as a soap opera character. When you have four ex-husbands, it should dawn on you:  it’s not them, it’s YOU.  And yet she’s still whining and fake crying.  Note that in the video above, she isn’t really crying.  There are what I call, “phantom tears”–where the “victim” pushes her voice and pretends to cry but no tears flow. She’s an actress. Just not a very good one. I loathe Matt Lauer, but he’s right in his interrogation of this whining fake.
I’m not saying the Cook is totally blameless in this. He, after all, married this woman after three warnings, known as ex-husbands. Knowing that, he should have recognized the trend and said, “thanks but no thanks.” As for the cheating and internet porn, with a professional shrew like this for a wife, you can’t say she didn’t drive him to it. I’m actually beginning to feel sorry for the guy, even though a court-appointed psychiatrist said both of them need help.
But if real feminism–the real equality feminists claim they want, while seeking a completely unfair upside that has zero to do with “equal opportunity” or “equal treatment”–were in play today, Christie Brinkley would have been forced to pay child support (in the tens of thousands per month) to Peter Cook.
And she would shut the bleep up.
I would say, “Welcome to equality, Christie.”  But this ain’t equality.  It’s just an aging, narcissistic model whining incessantly ad infinitum because she can’t let go of the fact her ex cheated on her with a much younger chick over four years ago.
The thing is that men, every single day around America, are in divorces with women like this–in many cases not because they cheated or were in the wrong. But, still, the women won’t move on and live their lives, despite many of them holding feminist views and being uber-liberals when it comes to everyone else’s lives.
It’s sad, but it’s the other side of divorce you never hear about. She claims she wants peace, and yet she brings her four-year-old divorce to the “Today Show” and is calling for more stupid legislation we don’t need?
PUH-LEEZE.
“Uptown girl”? Not even close. What Christie Brinkley is up to, these days, is strictly low class. It just shows her to be the cheap trollop she always was beneath the blonde supermodel veneer and lifestyle.
And I wouldn’t buy a ticket to see this hack in “Chicago” if it was the last musical on earth.
Models are a dime a dozen. Ex-models are a penny a dozen, adjusting for inflation (of their egos).
Stick a fork (and a sock) in it, Christie. You’re done. Next!
