You know I really shouldn't care but I'm sick and tired of the American media and their lies. Erin Moran died of a heroin overdose. The first story we heard was true that she was found in her home dead after taking some heroin. I guess her husband didn't want the cops around asking questions like where did she get this heroin? From what I understand he's a user too and didn't want to answer any of these questions. Now I guess members of her family wanna' push this bullshit assed story about her having cancer and it coming all of a sudden to cover for her unfortunate drug overdose. Why are they trying to hide it; it happens! It was well known that she had a problem with drugs and alcohol; I guess they didn't want her to be a typical celebrity death. Hey, it is what it is. She had no cancer or if she did that wasn't what killed her. Tell the fuckin' truth! This isn't the 1950's where this bullshit story would fly coz' everybody believed everything they saw and heard on tv. We got better sense now. She's gone now and lying about how she went changes nothing! This is nothing to lie about. It happens. However she died we will all miss her and the truth will not diminish her. It will only serve as a cautionary tale to others coming to hollywood thinking all of their dreams will come true. Sad stories like this happen.
Erin Moran, the "Happy Days" actress who lost her battle with cancer Saturday, died holding her husband's hand.
Steve Fleischmann penned a heartfelt open letter revealing his late wife was "happy" and "active" in her final moments before she passed away in her sleep.
"She woke up on the 22nd, she was not 100%" Fleischmann wrote in a note Moran's former "Joanie Loves Chachi" co-star Scott Baio posted Tuesday afternoon.
"She needed Kleenex, so I went to the store and came back. She was there watching TV in bed. I laid down next to her, held her right hand in my left. I fell asleep, woke up about a (sic) hour later still holding her hand and she was gone."
Child star advocate Paul Petersen: 'We tried' to help Erin Moran
Fleischmann, who wed the star in 1993, explained that Moran, 56, had
been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in December after waking up
to a dime-sized blood stain on her pillowcase after the two celebrated
their wedding anniversary in late November.
