Okay, I was wrong. Somebody did spill the beans on Richard about his gayness (as if we didn't already know) and now we all know why he is in hiding. From the looks of him he's dying from aids and either the treatements aren't working or he's not taking any. He's closed his business and isn't making any more public appearances (he looks drawn and sickly now plus he's been to the hospital several times already) so he's not planning on coming back. I got the feeling he plans on checking out of this life soon and is just spending his last days at home. He looks very bad. His aids is proabably full blown.
