It looks like David Cassidy is going to buy it this year too. He's in terrible condition with absoloute organ failure. He's the father of Katy Cassidy of Arrow fame, and the brother of Shaun Cassidy. Now I remember Shaun Cassidy of the Hardy Boys back in the 70's. Don't know a whole lot about David myself except he was in the Partridge Family, a show I didn't really watch and didn't really like. I mostlly remember Shaun Cassidy coz' he was a really good singer too, then I heard he had an older brother named David who starred with his mother Shirley Jones in an old tv series. Now Shaun's mother Shirley was hot, and a lot of us daydreamed about her back in the day. But David was a little before my time and his music didn't really do much for me. Now I was a fan of Shaun Cassidy, but I feel for his brother David who's been for years trying to re-capture his glory days. Now that I'm in my 50's I totally understand. Desn't look like he's gonna' manage to do that; sad to see he's getting ready to die. I pray he's made his peace with the Big Guy and His Son. Maybe I'll hear him playing harp and singing in Heaven.

Sources now tell us David has taken a turn for the worse ... he now has a breathing tube and doctors say David's prospects are grim. As one source puts it, "There's really no issue anymore for a transplant. It's futile."
We're told doctors have summoned David's immediately family -- his son and ex-wife -- back to the hospital for what could be their final visit.
